I take pictures for a few reasons: I love making people feel like the absolute coolest version of themselves, I’m mildly obsessed with color (because honestly, life without it would be incredibly boring), and I think the photos you end up keeping forever are worth a lot more than the ones you scroll past. Some of my most prized possessions are photographs of the people I love, and there’s something really special about getting to create that same kind of treasure for someone else. I want your photos to feel full of personality, color, and little moments you’ll be very glad you captured. And, of course, I have to keep photographing things because I have a child to support. Her name is Panda and she contributes nothing financially.
Most photographers have a picture of themselves as a kid with a camera in their hands and say, “I’ve been taking photos for as long as I can remember.”
I, unfortunately, was busy being aggressively obsessed with Ariel. So… not exactly a photographer origin story, but I think we can all agree the mermaid era was important to the development of my creative vision.
Photography is one of those things that somehow turned from “I think this is really cool” into something I genuinely can’t imagine my life without. I’m so excited to keep creating, meet all of you, hear your ideas, and turn the things you’ve pictured in your head into something you can actually hold onto!
